Celebrating Life Through Divine Worship

Twenty First Sunday after Pentecost

10:00 AM, October 17, 2010

The time of centering: We use this time to make the transition between “getting here” and “being here.” Take these few minutes of quiet time to get in touch with the calm places, the still, deep places in you; the spirit. Relax your body; quiet the inner dialogue of you mind. Focus on feeling, on being. Be receptive to your center – your reservoir of inner peace, strength, love. Be aware of being with others. Feel the spirit of the community. Welcome………..

CALL US TOGETHER

LEADER: God calls us in the midst of our busy lives:

PEOPLE: “Pause a while and know I am God”

LEADER: God calls us from our ambitions, from our occupation

with busyness and concerns about everyday life:

PEOPLE: “Let be and learn from God.”

LEADER: God is our shelter, our strength, ever ready to help in

                       time of trouble.

PEOPLE: God is with us, now and forever more.

    ALL:          Amen
