Celebrating Life through Divine Worship
Communion Sunday
October 2, 2011
The time of centering:
God hears our call: the call from our hearts for peace, compassion, and understanding. We gather today in this community to renew the vision and commitment for a world of just peace knowing that God’s love holds all, sees all, accepts all. Thanks be to God. Welcome to this church family.

ENTRANCE OF THE LIGHT
INVOCATION
Let us give thanks to God, for God is always with us. God is with us in the miracle of birth. God is with us in the wonder of the sunrise and in the flight of an eagle. God is with us in the changing of the seasons. God is with us when we gather together and when we are alone. God is with us in our giftedness and in our search for new understandings of inner-peace and new visions of peace for our families and our communities. Amen.
